Sheffield United Branding
Sheffield United is one of the oldest football clubs in the world with a loyal and large fan base. They didn't need a new brand, just one that was fit for purpose.
With multiple versions of the brand identity being used (all with marked differences) and no creative control over how it was applied or who could use it. We worked with the Sheffield United team to get the brand back on track.
A revised logo was created and agreed as the singular application. For the first time a definitive brand guidelines, er, guide was produced to ensure consistent application of not only the club's identity, font and colours but also its values and aspirations.
We also embarked on a redesign of all key materials from match-day tickets and hospitality brochures to parking signage and executive passes. From inconsistent and lacklustre to compelling, quality brand communications - back of the net!
