Front Soars to New Heights with TV Advert

After six years of successful and compelling print, online outdoor and radio advertising work, Front - the Sheffield based advertising agency - has made the strategic decision to diversify into the television sector and is now offering clients the additional service of devising, creating and integrating TV commercials into their campaign strategies. The first appointment for the the team is a 30 second advert to promote the prestigious and hugely popular Royal International Air Tattoo which will be taking place at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire from 17th to 18th July, 2010.
The Tattoo is the world’s largest military airshow attracting over 150,000 visitors. The advert will be transmitted from 12th June until 4th July across key regional commercial stations including; ITV1 HTV West, ITV1 Central South and ITV1 Meridian Thames Valley. Key family viewing times have also been targeted such as the ‘school run’ slots during GMTV South and GMTV Midlands.
The key proposition and angle on was built on getting the show’s advertising ‘back to basics’ - under the theme ‘Are You Prepared’. This was achieved by focusing on a number of key messages including ‘the hero pilots who do amazing things at amazing speeds in amazing machines’. The advert also features a practising RAF Typhoon display pilot who will be taking part in the two day event. Front commissioned RedBee as the production company.
Helen Webb, Deputy Marketing Director, Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises, commented; ‘Front has done a great job in capturing the exciting essence and appeal of the show. They have taken the concept back to basics in terms of messaging which has been a hugely positive step.’

It will be exciting to see the positive the effect it has on attendance and ticket sales.’
The launch of the advert also coincides with the completion of Front’s latest TV ad for the Royal Horticultural Society’s Tatton Park Flower Show which airs from 28th May.
‘Are You Prepared’ comes to air on Saturday 12th June.
